I can't run track?

The last few days I have tried something a little different in my training. Instead of my usual randomly running around the streets of my town I decided to go over to the college near my house and run on their track. I have discovered what I think is an oddity in my training. When running around the track I found it very difficult to keep a consistant pace or even cover the distance. I ended up just leaving and finishing my workout by running home instead of walking. Is this a normal problem to have? Is it something that I can solve? If anyone has any advice I appreciate it. |
