Well, the days have gone on from the news of my schedule changes has passed to better news and moods.

Today I was talking with my mother, a cancer survivor, about a charity 5K Run/Walk that is taking place in June. Only a little more than a year after her dianosis (February 14, 2007) and less than 6 months after she completed treatments (January 20, 2008) my mother is going to go with me to do the 5K walk.

For those of you who have survived or are close to those who have survived cancer, teh treatments takes a lot out of them. Tonight I talked to her and met with her after my run and we went for a walk.

A little over a mile later we got back to the house and she is so excited. She was short of breath, but looking forward to the challenge and the oportunity to get back into the shape she was in before her cancer was discovered.
